Student Travel Grant Award (STGA)
STGA Winners
Based on the rigorous review, Conference Affairs Committee decided to give STGA to the authors of the following three papers:- Jyothiraditya Ramaswamy, Enhancing System Identification through Transfer Learning in Gaussian Process Models: Bridging Sim-to-Real and Cross-Environment Applications
- Pasut Insung, Utilizing a Classification Tree for Rocky Terrain Detection in 3D Point Clouds for Coastal Erosion Studies
- Xiaodong Li, Leader-following Consensus of Open Multi-Unmanned Aerial
Application method
We (Conference Committee) have set up this grant award in order to encourage students' contribution from abroad and to support part of their travel expenses to SICE 2024.
We strongly hope that many students from all over the world apply for this grant award.
An STGA candidate should be an undergraduate/graduate student (at the time of the application) outside Japan who attends SICE 2024 and presents his/her paper at SICE 2024.
Applications are completed by sending an email with the following items to

by the deadline July 2, 2024.

Recipients will be selected by our Committee based on the paper quality. Four weeks ahead of the conference period, the finalists will be announced directly to them. Each finalist is asked to send a copy of student ID at this stage. The three outstanding winners will be awarded a prize JPY50,000 at the closing ceremony.
